The Handicraft Centre was started in 1955 to provide employment to needy women by making hand embroided articles. The Handicraft Centre specialises in making hand embroided items like Bed covers, Dohar sets, Pillow covers, Table cloth, Cushion covers and other similar items. In the era of mechanisation the centre is engaged in the ancient art of hand embroided items and is thus preserving the heritage of Indian art and culture.
The products of Handicraft Centres are known for consistency in quality and have high brand equity. The products enjoy a great deal of customer loyality and are sold not only in Yamunanagar but have great demand in NCR also. The Centre runs on no profit no loss basis and is providing employment to approximately 200 needy women in the area.
